Visibility Without This Is Useless (Stop Wasting Time)

The leaky bucket problem killing your visibility + the simple, free system fix.

You don’t have a visibility problem. You have a leaky bucket.

Real talk: I’ve been watching people inside Skool communities and on social media work themselves to exhaustion.

Engaging. Showing up daily. Creating content non-stop.

And still wondering why nothing’s coming from it.

This week a woman in one of my Skool groups told me she’d been doing everything right — engaging in groups, talking to people — but her followers weren’t growing.

I clicked on her profile.

No website. No social links. No customer journey. Nothing.

She’d been told to build her audience first.

That’s the most unintelligent way to spend your time if you want to make money from social selling.

The leaky bucket problem

Here’s the truth: if you’re getting visibility but you don’t have a bucket to catch it, you’re just leaking it.

This week I’ve been posting content around my YouTube videos and going live. At the end of every piece of content, I say one simple thing:

“See you live on Tuesday. Comment if you’d like to be live, or comment ‘replay’ if you’d like to watch the replay.”

That triggers a DM automation (I use ManyChat — you can find the setup videos on my YouTube channel). It sends them the replay link, and softly introduces them to my community.

That’s a system. It picks up every comment and gives it somewhere to go.

Your invisible list is bigger than you think

Then there’s the invisible list — the lurkers.

People who watch your content, binge your YouTube, check your LinkedIn bio, but never comment or follow.

Then one day, out of nowhere, they message you to buy.

Honestly? Those are my favourite kind of clients. I never have to convince anyone of anything. They’ve already watched the content, understood the methodology, and they come to me ready to go.

That only happens because there’s a system underneath the content — a simple opt-in pathway into the Skool community.

Why every platform is a rented room

Imagine a street musician playing beautiful music. People stop. They’re moved. Some are even crying.

Then the song ends and they walk away — and he has nothing.

No hat on the ground. No QR code. No “if this moved you, here’s where to find me.”

He had the visibility. He didn’t have the system.

Every platform — Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Skool, Substack — runs its own algorithm, on its own terms. You don’t own any audience you build there. It’s rented.

I know someone who lost 13,000 Instagram followers overnight. She thought she was safe because she had 10,000 people on her email list.

Only 300 rejoined her.

But here’s the twist — those 300 people engaged more than the original 13,000 ever did. They were her loyal raving fans.

Skool isn’t the problem. Instagram isn’t the problem. Using them with no email capture underneath is the problem.

One name, multiple ways to get paid

If you look across everything I do — my socials, my Skool group, my YouTube, my DM automations — one name shows up everywhere: Social Sellers Society.

One name. Multiple ways to get paid. Like Lego blocks.

  • Free entry point: weekly YouTube videos (repurposed into Podcast on Substack) + Skool community (with implementation exercises and companion guide)

  • First paid block: a $47 call — solving one problem, fast

  • Low-ticket offer: a course or app, $27–$97

  • Mid-ticket: 1:1 training, around $500

  • Bigger block: an implementation workshop or “boot camp”

  • Full house: the flagship — same system, just more accountability and hands-on support

Same name. Same system. Different blocks for different people in different places, depending on what they need and what they’re ready for.

Your move this week

Visibility without conversion is exhausting. You’ll want to quit daily because you won’t see a return on the time you’re investing.

Pick one OFFER (Customer Journey). Set up a SIMPLE system. Do it for 90 days.

This week, audit your own setup:

  • Where are you losing people?

  • What happens to your business if one platform disappears tomorrow?

  • Where could you be making money that you’re currently leaving on the table?

Build the bucket before you chase more water.
